在结婚十周年纪念日即将到来的时候，万能博士想为妻子买一件货真价实的貂皮大衣。然而在对各种貂皮大衣的价格进行了仔细研究之后，他无奈地打消了这个鲁莽的念头。“貂皮大衣不是我们这样的家庭可以拥有的。”他抱歉地对妻子说。
他用两个月的时间，攻克了生物学和化学领域中数道悬而未决的难题，最后制作出了一件貂皮大衣。“我从没见过这么漂亮的貂皮大衣。”妻子用充满赞赏的眼神看着自己的丈夫。
这件大衣很快成为附近居民聊天的热门话题。住在隔壁的林先生为此还特意拜访了万能博士。“瞧这毛皮，瞧这料子„„”林先生对貂皮大衣大加赞赏，“真是仿制品吗？”

①“海错”一词，是我国古代对于海洋生物、海产品的总称，出典于《尚书·禹贡》“厥贡盐公式，海物惟错”。故宫博物院所藏的《海错图》就是一部记录了海洋生物、海产品的绘卷。
②在我国古代，有一类画家以“务专”而闻名于世，但多涉兰梅竹菊、人物花鸟，能够把自己的全部精力投入到海错画的创作中并有所成的画家甚少，而这套《海错图》的作者聂璜，就是这样一位画师。对于聂璜的历史记载寥寥，只知其字存庵，钱塘人，生卒不详，曾云游各地，考察不同生态环境中水生物的种类和习性。康熙三十七年，聂璜将其游历东南海滨所见鱼、虾、贝、蟹等现实和传说中的水族绘图成册，即《海错图》。
③遍览《海错图》，上面并未有任何的进献词句，可知在作者创作时并没有进呈之意。而这样一位非著名画师创作的非进呈作品，缘何可以纳入清宫收藏？故宫专家查阅雍正朝《流水档》，逐渐摸清了事情全貌：此图是雍正四年由副总管太监苏培盛交入清宫造办处，经过皇家重新装裱。以当时的官方主流画风为标准来看，这部图集远不如蒋廷锡《鸟谱》等宫廷之作精美工细，但其对光怪陆离的水族世界全面细致的表现，在中国画坛并不多见。或许正是这个原因，使得该册颇得乾隆帝的称赏。
④《海错图》笔触细腻艳丽，收录的海洋生物中，除了真实存在的海洋生物外，更有各类口耳相传的神秘生物，如凶猛食人的海蜘蛛、头生双角的潜牛、鳖身人首的海和尚„„这些或存在于海中或存在于想象中的生物，在作者的生花妙笔下，神采奕奕，跃然纸上。《海错图》的另一特点是图文并茂，绘画只占篇幅的一半，而另一半则是聂璜对每一种生物所作的考证与描述，有对其产地、习性、外貌特征、烹饪方式的记述，还有很多沿海一带的坊间传说以及作者对于一些社会现象的感怀。每篇文字长短不一，但都以一首朗朗上口的小赞作为总结，通读之后，让人有种置身神妙深海世界的感动，重新迸发出对不可知的事物的探求心与想象灵光，在感叹造物神奇之后，多了一分对海洋、对世界、对宇宙的敬畏之情。
