ladies and gentlemen , good morning! i?m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

first i want to ask you some questions:

youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life . youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.

years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .{youth演讲稿}.

whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart there?s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. thank you!

Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Today my topic is ‘colorful youth’.

I want to ask you a simple question. What is the meaning of youth in your mind?

Well, some people say that youth is a song echoed the cheerful beautiful melody, while some people say that youth is a painting engraved with the rich romantic colors.

However, I think that the process to realize our dream is the most beautiful song of the youth and it is what makes our youth colorful.

And here I want to talk about a friend of mine. I think she is the right person to represent the colorful youth. When we were young in the high school, she told me that her dream was to be a teacher in the remote mountain areas, to help the poor children and give them sunshine to make their life colorful. At that time, I didn’t care her words much but she was really serious. After we graduated, she went to a normal college. She studied very hard and began to make money at weekends. Some of my classmates said she didn’t enjoy her youth. But I began to understand her. She was making effort to realize her young dream. Now she is a teacher in a remote village where life is not so comfortable. Last week I contacted her and felt she was very happy to have her dream realized. She said sometimes life was miserable, but when she saw the beautiful mountain and the children’s smile, she felt the world became colorful.

If there is rain in that village, I believe she is the sunshine in the rain. The children’s faces reflect the rainbow and that’s what colorful youth really is.

What about us, my dear friends? Just imagine what our youth will be like without dreams. It might be very boring, right? Now it’s time to wake up. Youth is right there, find out what our dreams are and engage ourselves in hard work, because that is the very essence of youth!{youth演讲稿}.

Good afternoon everyone, I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. My name is Luo Man. I major in population, resource and environmental economics. Today I want to share my feeling of youth .In my mind, youth is a holy process, a process of chasing dream .

When I was a little girl , I hoped I could be a famous ambassador or a great actor one day and I did many things for my great dream. In the junior, however, I became a bad girl. I often got my parents into troubles, and couldn't let them have peace in mind. I lost my way, lost my great dream and couldn't see my future either. In a word, confused.

Luckily, I step into youth. My dream becomes simple but specific, yeah, just to be a better me. So I try my best to become an integrated person, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, has the strong ability to judge right and wrong .Little by little, I don’t fear to make mistakes any more, as I still have{youth演讲稿}.

My name is Gao Wenjing, and I am contestant number 9. Today, I am very glad to stand here and deliver a speech about ‘Youth and Dreams’. Before I start, I’d like to ask you to keep the two words ‘youth’ and ‘dream’ in your mind , and think about the influence they have had on your life till now.

Firstly, as for me, the youth and dream are two words with magical power. Take my recent three years for example, my youth seems keeping telling me that I have the time and energy to persue what I want and what I dream, and my dreams lead me to go to a college, to choose my favorite English as my major, and now standing here to start my first step of being a public speaker. Secondly, as for you, my dear schoolmates, since you are also in your youthful time and with dreams, I assume that you also have the same feeling of the magical power from your youth and dreams.

But, ladies and gentlemen,have you ever wondered why our youth and dreams have this magical power to drive us move foreward? I have thought about this question for a long time before the speech , and now I want to illustrate my understanding by an analogy. Imaging our life as a

piece of painting, regarding our youth as the blank painting paper and assuming our dreams as these various colorful painting brushes. We all want to use colorful dreams to decorate youth ,to make our life a fantastic and unique painting in the world. I think, that is why we all struggle to achieve dreams during youthful times. And of course, youth is exactly the best time for us to achieve impossibles. Now, as college students, maybe we are not perfect enough to do great dees, and sometimes even shallow. Maybe we are still a long long distance away from our goals. Maybe except the energy and expectations we have, we are under more pressure and responsibilities. Of course, ladies and gentlemen, there are a lot of other maybes, but since we are in the most beautiful years in our life,aren’t these youthful years the best time to fly our dreams? Yes, the answer is definitely yes.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please always remind ourselves that we are now in our youthful time, nothing is impossible here, no matter how many difficulties or challenges, we should never retreat or flinch. This is our time, this is our show. Always believe that we have this amazing strength to change any situation. Always believe that we are the masters of our feature. So I'll say:Concentrate upon your dreams and they will become material actualities. Through concentration we work out our dreams in physical life. Your future depends upon the dreams you are forming now. Your past dreams are determining your present. Therefore, if you want a bright future, you must begin to prepare for it today. We say a man is as changeable as the weather. What is meant is his dreams change. Every time you change your idea you think differently. You become like a rudderless boat on an ocean. Therefore realize the importance of holding to your dream until it becomes a reality . Catch the star that holds your destiny, the one that forever twinkles within your heart. Take advantage of precious opporyunities while they still sparkle before you. Always believe that your ultimate goal is attainable as long as you commit yourself to it. Though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, remember that your destiny is hiding behind them. Accept the fect that not everyone is goimg to approve of the choices you've made, have faith in your judgement, catch the star that twinkles in your heart, and it will lead you to your destiny's path. Follow that pathway and uncover the sweet sunrises that await you.

Take pride in your accomplishments, as they are stepping stones to your dreams. Understand that you may make mistakes, but don't let them discourage you. Value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you truly unique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired through hard work and determination. Finding the star that twinkles in your heart for you alone are capable of making your brightest dreams come true. - So don't think that you are neglected, or not understood, or not appreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure. Don't pity yourself, criticise yourself. You know that the only thing in the world that you have got to count upon is yourself.
