作业是学习活动的有机组成部分,是听课和复习的延续。和听课、复习相比较,作业在基本技能和能力的训练方面应当更着重强调一些。作业作为职业学校英语教学的重要环节之一,既是学生完成英语学科任务的一种手段,又是学生对英语知识巩固、理解和应用的一个学习过程。它是形成英语技能,提升英语能力的基本途径,是学生内化知识、外化素质的一种重要方式。
但是,长期以来大家对中职英语作业都不是很重视。教师教学理念滞后,只注重课堂教学,轻视作业设计,没有充分认识到作业及作业设计的重要作用;作业设计目的性不明,层次性不强,往往只局限于本课内容,游离于课程目标之外。教师理念的滞后,必然导致行为的偏差,从而脱离了职业学校学生的生活实际,偏离了职业学校教育的能力本位。教师设计作业随意、单调、枯燥,使得学生在完成作业时表现出厌倦、无趣、漠视的态度,这种现状十分令人担忧。造成这一现象的原因可以归纳为以下两方面。
首先,教师方面。职业教育发展不像普通教育那样,参考书目多,对教材挖掘深,老师布置的作业内容根据应试要求很具体。职业教育教材配套参考书很少,对作业要求很模糊,没有针对课堂内容编写的现成作业。作业需要老师创造性编写,但是多数老师由于教学任务多,时间少等多方面的原因,布置的作业内容比较狭窄,常是课后习题,很少能将知识进行一定的拓展和延伸。英语作业不是抄写就是翻译等,既缺乏广度和深度,又缺乏针对性和延续性,很难激发学生的兴趣、积极性和创造性,更不能认真做到知识掌握和能力培养之间的融会贯通。 其次,从学生做作业方面来看。学生缺乏良好的学习方法,对英语学习不重视,对作业更是漠视。上职业学校的学生绝大部分学习基础薄弱,学习习惯差,在做作业时,部分学生不会做作业,因此,作业抄袭现象非常严重,常常是一本作业做错,七八本,数十本跟着错;部分学生学习态度极不端正,作业书写潦草,应付差事,对付检查,上交的作业王羲之大草,让老师头疼不已。这次批评教育,下次依然我行我素,交上的作业仍看不清;每班总有五六名学生长期不想交作业的,总是借口没时间做,蒙混过关。
针对以上的状况和原因,我认为应从下面三方面改进。
一是教师的作业设计要有较强的针对性,应为不同水平层次的学生设计不同的作业。一定要明确每次练习的目的性,选题的典型性,设计的多样性和启发性;联系生活的实际,编拟一些贴近生活的作业题,巩固课堂知识,扩大学生的视野,使他们产生新颖感,引起好奇心,怀着旺盛的求知欲去完成。教育心理学家说:“兴趣是最好的老师。”作业设计一定要能激发学生学习兴趣,调动学生学习积极性。老师可以为完成基础题有困难的学生设计铺垫性的作业,也可以为学有余力的学生设计扩展型的作业,还可以为智力较好的学生,在完成基础题后,设计

一、教材分析 本单元的中心话题是“颜色与心情”,学习不同种类的颜色及其对人情绪的影响。其中重点介绍了色彩与情绪的关系,而本单元阅读部分内容正是围绕这一中心话题展开的。阅读部分向学生介绍了谈论颜色有助于引出关于情绪和情感的内容。鼓励学生运用本单元的知识开始思考他们的情绪和情感。
二、教学目标设计 1)基本知识目标:学习和掌握阅读部分所涉及的新单词和词组,尤其是一些习惯用语的表达方式及用法方面的固定搭配。 2)能力智力目标:进一步训练学生的自我阅读能力,并要求能够在快速阅读后领会主要句子的意思。 3)德育情感目标:鼓励学生运用文章中所了解色彩和情绪的关系的知识思考他们的情绪和情感,并讨论在自己或别人伤心的时候,该如何帮助自己或别人。
三、教学重点与难点 1)怎样来正确使用与课文有关的重要词汇短语? 2)对文章的听读理解能力及获取具体信息的能力 3)对文章快速阅读的能力及阅读对写作的迁移能力

(设计目的:在正式阅读文章前,给学生分组布置任务,通过五环及福娃,要求前后四名学生为一组共同讨论各自喜爱的不同颜色的福娃及其原因,体现团队合作精神。小组讨论、协商,不仅给学生提供了大量的口头练习机会,而且是个取长补短,集思广益,互相学习的过程,有助于培养学生分析问题和解决问题的能力从而发展他们的个性。) Step2. Leading-in

中职英语特色课外作业设计的实践与探究
摘 要:课外作业是课堂教学的延伸,是巩固教学效果的有效手段。英语教师设计并布置适合学生的独特且有创新性的课外作业,对激发学生的英语学习兴趣,提高英语学习的有效性有积极的推动作用。本文从英语课外作业的设计入手,从学生实际出发,对中职学生英语课外的作业类型进行了探索和实践,提炼出设计制作型、调查分析型、模仿展示型和音像欣赏型等行之有效的作业方式。 关键词:中职英语;课外作业;作业设计
一、问题的提出
通常情况下,大多数英语教师课后布置作业无外乎课后习题以及和教材配套的基础训练,不然就是背单词、背课文。结果是,学生对教师布置的作业不感兴趣。事实证明,绝大部分学生要么不做,要么抄袭以应付差事。作业成为学生最为头疼的负担。
《中等职业学校英语教学大纲》提出教学要以学生为本,发挥学生的自主性,要注重培养学生语言综合应用能力,依据教学目标,结合教学内容与要求,设计符合学生实际、目的明确、操作性强、丰富多样的课内外教学活动。
教育家苏霍姆林斯基说:“在人的心灵深处都有一种根深蒂固的需求,就是希望感到自己是个发现者和研究者,而在儿童的精神世界这种需求更为强烈。”因此,在设计作业时,可考虑让学生通过做作业发现些什么,从而激发学生的好奇心,提高学生学习英语的积极性,培养学生思维的灵活性和敏捷度。
