Mid-autumn Day is one of the important traditional festivals with beautiful tales in China. On that day, almost everyone gets together with his or her family, eating mooncakes, chatting and watching the moon. Everyone is very happy on the Mid-autumn night.

When I was young, I could always have a cheerful Mid-autumn Day. However, as the things I should do were becoming more and more, I gradually（渐渐地） didn't have enough time to enjoy the festival. Every time, I just stand on the balcony and eat a mooncake, and that is all of the festival!{autumn的英语作业}.

On the Mid-autumn Day this year, our teacher, my classmates and I had a meaningful party in the classroom. Our teacher gave each of us a small mooncake which she bought the day before when it rained heavily. In order to keep the mooncakes dry, she was all wet when she got home. Our teacher poured all of her love to us onto the little mooncakes! Afterwards, we ate the lovely mooncakes, and at the same time, some students performed the beautiful tale of Chang'e. We were all so happy that we laughed and sang.

This is the most meaningful Mid-autumn Day I've ever had.

Have you enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival? Mid-Autumn Festival is Chinese traditional festival , and it’s very important to Chinese people ,it’s the time that every family member come together and share happiness. We will feel lonely if we can not enjoy the festival with families. We have this festival since ancient time , it really have long history. I always spend the festival with my families before I come to university. But now , I can only spend it with my friends in kunming ,because my home is far away . we should eat the mooncake in that day , and we can have a big meal for dinner, some delicious meat and fish, and some local food,there are 10 chinese food on our table at least. I always spend it with my grandparents,parents, brothers , sisters and uncles, it’s really a big family ,just like a family meeting. We eat together and talk with happiness. After we finish our dinner , about eight o’clock, we prepare another important event. My mom put some fruits and moomcakes on the table , old people like some tea ,we children like juice. Family member come together again and watch the beautiful moon and enjoy the fantastic mooncake. Moon is the symbol for pureness and goodness . and there is a famous song in China named The Moon Can Express My Heart. So you can understand how Chinese people love the moon from this song, then at ten or eleven o’clock we go to the bed and pray for a good wish next year. This my Mid-Autumn Featival ,I love the festival and I love my family too!

Happy Mid-autumn Festival

Mid-autumn festival is the day when all the family members get together, chatting about their lives, eating moon cakes and enjoying the full moon. However, I celebrated this Mid-autumn day in school with friends rather than went home.

On that day, my roommate and I went to watch a movie called My Lucky Star. It is casted by my favorite superstar, Leehom Wang. When I was on the bus, I kept talking to my roommate how eager I was to watch this movie. It occurred to me the same excitement when I went to enjoy his vocal concert. Seeing him on the screen, I felt my blood was boiling and my inner shout was breaking out. The film was humorous and we burst into laughter from time to time. After it was over, we were all unwilling to leave the room. Accompanied by my eternal idol, I did enjoy this Mid-autumn festival.

We were supposed to have family union dinner on that day, so we decided to cook our own meal in the dorm. We bought some delicious cooked food, stewed noodles with some oden and vegetables and fried some meat. We were in charge of different steps and we made it in order. Dividing each moon cake into four pieces, we shared with each other. We were happy and it became our wonderful memories.

Although I didn’t get reunion with my family, I thought this Mid-autumn festival was special and unforgettable in my life. Even when

we graduate and are apart, every Mid-autumn festival I will recollect this memory and my lovely roommates.

On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner, people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily.

At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To protect the frighten the dragon away.
